Now Taking New Clients!!!
If one of your main goals is to look better, check in photos are the most valuable tool at my disposal. The scale doesn't tell us if your body composition is improving. Photos do.
Clients are expected to submit a set of progress photos every two weeks. One picture from the front, one from the side and one from the back. Photos should be taken upon waking and before eating or drinking anything.
This is the most common mistake I see: You don't need somebody else to take them for you. Just set your phone's ten second timer and put your phone on a shelf or countertop. This way you can take photos from each angle all by yourself. This means no more waiting for your spouse, asking a coworker or taking those absolutely useless "Over the shoulder back pics in the mirror".
Consistency. It is imperative that you use the same angle, distance, lighting and camera height each time you take your pics. All of these variables can dramatically change your look.
This one's easy: Every time you take your pics, choose the same location, put your camera in the same place and ensure lighting is identical. This might mean you have to cover a nearby window or draw the shades. Outdoor lighting changes from season to season, week to week and hour to hour.
This is entirely up to the client. Please wear whatever makes you comfortable. Obviously, a cardigan and a pair of loose fitting sweatpants isn't ideal, lol. It helps if I can actually see what's going on with your body. Clients typically wear a bathing suit, underwear, shorts and a sports bra or workout clothes. The most important factor is to make sure you wear something similar each time so I can see changes happening.
